Almost means I haven't experienced a similar problem after upgrading to version 3.0.5TinyMCE editor problem after wordpress2.7 install
Posted on December 25, 2008 | 1 CommentTinyMCE editor may not work for you after you upgrade to Wordpress 2.7. This may be due to some plug in that directly modifies the user interface. The problems include not able to edit in Visual mode. Losing the interface completely when going back to normal HTML mode etc..Adsense temporarily down

Posted on July 20, 2008 | No CommentsOpera 9.5 failed to process TinyMCE correctly. so if you enterd something in the HTML editor and came back to Visual editor mode.. you won’t see any text. Check out thses screen shots. Actually it is caused by wrong implementation of JavaScript in TinyMCE. More...Image not shown properly in Microsoft Office
