Great Hosting
I have been blogging from early 2004. Through these years I have moved from one host to another atleast four time. My first account was with bluefur.com which gave me an offer price of $10 for a year worth of basic hosting. Then I moved to godaddy.com and after that a month to hostgator.com. Only one of these sucked big time. It was hostgator. Bluefur was the most amazing one, closely followed by godaddy.com. I use godaddy for all my domains. The most amazing thing about godaddy is that you can always find coupons to get discount, no matter when.
But the godaddy hosting was not as good as their domain service. Having experienced down times heavily and their control panel being not too user-friendly, I decided to move to hostgator. I don’t know if its me or them, hostgator sucked bigtime, with my blog always showing 500 server errors during the time WP-supercache was setting itself up. This is a big no-no if you need to be a decent host. This was the time when I remembered an old ad I saw in PCworld. I decided to try that one.
And here I am now on 1and1.com The best part is, I am fully satisfied by their plan and theirs support. 1and1 doesn’t have the best control panels in history but it is really easy to manage, once you have gotten used to it. I have always stuck onto Linux hosting. This is because wordpress uses only php and mysql. So Linux would serve me good.
