Customize your send to shell menu using sendto toys

Sendto toys options in menuWe have already discussed how to make a new entry in the Sendto menu. So if we need more advanced option in sendto menu we can use the Sendto Toys from Gabriel Ponti. It is a simple program that weighs only 737Kb and is Free. This program will add more advanced options to your send to menu. The main options are

  • Clip Board – copies the name of th item to clipboard
  • Command Prompt – Send the full path to the command prompt
  • Default mail recipent – Attaches file
  • Favorites – add to favorites
  • Folder – send to a folder as cut – paste, copy – paste or short cut.
  • Quick Launch – allows you to launch the item by a single click
  • Run – send the full path to Run dialog

. The utility actually consists of small programs that do the above tasks. A shortcut is created in the Sendto folder for each of the tasks. That was exctly how we created the new option last time in Sendto menu. Any way the program is extremely small and is not memory resident, overall it is free and is handy and really “install worthy” So try it and also make a donation to him if you like it. He has got other programs alos one for restarting and another a Window focuser tool. Try them too both ara free. I really appreciate him for creating such free programs.

    Great post!

For those who want to know how to edit the right-click context menu, I’ve written a four part post!
