If I have a dual boot system, can I use this to block all other drives on the second installation (leaving just the current Window’s drive)? Or would removing access to the other version of Windows prevent that installation from booting?

Basically I’m just wondering if these changes only apply to the current version of Windows or if they will affect multiple installations.

Hi All,

To shutdown a computer via a network or lan.. click stat / run / shutdown -i

Enter the compuer name. Select the option from the drop down menu “shutdown” “Restart” or “Logoff” set the time to show the message. then have the message to what ever you like then press ok.

this method only block acess through explorer…..we can access using CMD..

Hi Does this method will also restrict files being burnt on a cd, or from one drive to the other? I just have one drive on my comp, thus unable to check.

Also will this limit us from using a USB printer?

U wrote it in 2008, it does work on xp7 have tried it, but have u recently found a better way of doing it. Can we have a password for this, rather than using “0″,s and “1″ .. coz we need to use the usb quite some time..
