Every blog author would be delighted to see your new blog post entries indexed by Google the moment you write them. This would be a great moment if you are like mine. What did I do?

What I did exactly is that I pinged my blog from Google BlogSearch. This will make Google Blog search bot crawl your Blog instantly (in most of the cases). So this will cause the main search engine also to reflect the change. The page will not be cached immediately but you will, in almost all the cases, be indexed. The above screen shot was taken on day two. And the results in Google will include your post too.

Hosting means getting the server space only. In order to get a personal address you need to register a domain with some other services such as Godaddy (bluefur also provides domain registration)

Blogger has got Autosave now just like Gmail. The posts will be saved automatically after two minutes each.
Autosave is not functional for editing already published posts.

Here I am giving some tips on how to make Links to your new blog(you will be badly in need). As we all know the world (or Google) is turning around Link backs..and for a comparatively new blog the hardest thing is to get a linkback. Here are the few tips I have found to get Linkbacks which have been done by me and found useful. The last one (tip 5) is from another blog (to which a link have been put).

1. Go to some blog community sites like MyBlogLog and setup your community. Fool around and find people who are similar to you and ask for link baiting (you link me I link you). Then ask others to visit your blog and join your community ( this must not be like Spam or Junk mail).
2. Go to good blogs where the blogger has put a top commentators plugin. READ the blog and if you find it interesting comment on it. after some days either you will be on the Top commentators or you will get traffic from the comments section.

3. Check out some services like technorati and signup.

4. There are lots of services like 2K bloggers visit and submit your photo and blog.

5. Last But Not Least I found this wonderful service from HarpzOn.com article which listed a number of CSS template directories. Here you can submit your blog if you got a CSS design for your site. It must be designed by you and must be interesting (I am soon going to Join it, my template is in the workshop). Here is the extract from HarpzOn :
